In honor of the triplets' first year of life, we decided to venture up for a visit to their old stompin' grounds...UW NICU! We started out with an appointment at Children's for Andrew. A recheck of his head confirmed that he simply has the "preemie" head. They didn't feel there was any concern otherwise. After that, we had a great time sharing lunch at The Ram with some of the babies' best nurses, and then we headed over to the unit where we got the royal treatment and spent about 2 hours playing and visiting in the attending physician's office. Wow, who knew having triplets came with such privileges :-) We had such a wonderful time seeing our friends from the first few months and having the opportunity for them to see what the babies are doing these days. It was the best way to celebrate their first year of life!

Andrew getting up close and personal with Heidi....She was never Andrew's nurse, but has been a very important friend to us and his little sissy Molly. We certainly have been blessed by the love, care, and prayer that she has given Molly and our family. She was there with Molly from the beginning, took a couple trips to Children's with her, and stood by her side, always advocating for what was best for Molly! We have a lot to be thankful for :-) We will cherish our Mini Molly Microdot Gets Cheeks book forever!
And once again, Andrew flirting, with Shellie this time....Shellie was another one of Molly's wonderful nurses, and as you might be picking up on, nurse for one pretty much means nurse for all when it comes to these babies. I'll always remember the night Megan got to hold one of the babies for the first time....Shellie sat us down and handed Molly right over to Megan. That was a turning point for her, as she got to really feel what it was like to hold one of her babies! Thank you Shellie for that moment :-) And your positive thoughts and faith in Molly did wonders for getting us through the toughest times!
You've met Lisa, but here she is with her husband Jamie and Hailey. I'm sure this day will be as memorable for her as it will be for us! Thank you for everything Lisa!

On to the NICU
I will never feel like I can say enough to express our appreciation and gratitude for every person who touched our babies' lives and blessed our family with their care, diligence, and faith! 
Carrie spent many hours looking over Molly and her gentle, caring manner helped ease many worries we had!
Hailey became very near and dear to Terri, as she escorted her and stayed by her side through both of Hailey's surgeries. We could always count on Terri to give us the information we wanted and needed, and she was a true blessing to us! And not only did she care for Hailey, but Andrew as well! 
Shwu Shin-what an amazing person she is! She was there the night the babies were born, and we truly feel that had she not, there is a good chance one or more of them would not be with us today. I believe she admitted Hailey, but was paramount in the care of all three babies. As nurse practitioners go....she's one of the best! She even donned a gown and sterile garb over her very nice shopping clothes on one of her days off just to insert a PICC line for Molly. Talk about dedication!
Sharon....another one of the best nurse practitioners. Her kindness was always welcomed and her gentle nature a blessing. If I remember correctly, we first met Sharon at Children's when Andrew was a patient there. She then went over to UW and was there for us whenever we needed advice, encouragement, or just plain conversation! She continues to be a friend and advocate for Molly and the rest of us :-)
Dr. Mayock had the privilege of caring for all the babies while they were at UW and Children's. We first met him when he was the attending physician at Children's right when Andrew was admitted. In fact, it was him who discovered Andrew's lung condition, PIE, and had the not-so-fun job of passing the information along to us. I believe he was very proud to see how far these little ones have come!
Shwu Shin, once again, helping us out by feeding Andrew. She wasn't even working and she stayed well into our visit! We are so thankful for her.
We really lucked out on our visit and were able to see many of the wonderful nurses and friends that took care of us and helped us travel our NICU journey! They will forever be a part of our lives and have a place in our hearts!
I tried her in the swing for the first time. She's still a little small, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a pic! Megan was happy to help keep her steady.
Hailey never wants to miss a moment, so even when trying to keep the sun out of her eyes, she still manages to find a way to peek out into the world :-)

It all turned out just fine and Megan did a wonderful job of catching the hair in an envelope for future scrapbook use!
She is certainly one happy little girl!
