I was driving home yesterday from picking up Megan and something came to mind that I thought I should share. I sometimes find myself thinking about what it would be like to be the mom with just two kids, nicely spaced out, plenty of time for both of them, etc. The chaos of my day often leaves me feeling like I haven't given enough to any of my kids and that it would be so much easier to just have 2. But then, in a split second, another thought occurs. For every time I think about the ease of having fewer children and wishing for a little less craziness, there is a woman out there who would give anything for my chaos. Someone who is wondering what it would be like to have even 1, if not 5 or 6 little people, clinging to her, needing her, loving her without fail, and I remember how much I have to be thankful for! I get to wake up everyday knowing that I am loved, that if I need a hug or a smile, there are 4 beautiful little faces waiting to brighten my day! And I know without a doubt that I have been given a gift to be cherished with all my heart and never taken for granted!
