Full Bloom

I always have to share pictures of our garden...here she is then and now!
April 2010
June 2010
I have to tell you, if you only plant one thing, make it lettuce! I loves cold weather, so it can be grown nearly year round!! I planted this lettuce from seed in April and it's still going, plus, I'll plant another batch in August for the fall season! There's little better than going out and picking your salad for dinner!!

May, at a Glance!

Well, May came and went and now June is almost gone....where does the time go? We have some fun adventures during the month and I figured I better share some of them! Tim took Andrew on his first fishing trip, well, outing rather! A park near us has a fishing derby every year and although Tim's plan was to take Megan, she didn't want to get up so he took Andrew instead. Turns out we may have a future fisherman! He caught a small little blue gill (I think) and even won a prize! Andrew (AKA dad) chose a fishing pole!! Mother's Day was spent enjoying the beautiful sunshine and a family bbq at a state park nearby! I don't have many pictures from that, but it was a lot of fun!! And, as you know, we welcomed the newest member to our family, Ashley Grace, who is dearly loved and adored by all! Can't wait to see her grow and watch all her cousins love on her :-)
My Mother's Day cake, made especially by Megan :-)

What a fabulous Mother's Day present!

May was fun-filled, and now we look forward to summer!

Bus Riding Babes

So, when the little ones started preschool I was adamant that they would NOT ride the bus. However, there was a conflict with their schedule and Megan's, so we were kind of forced to use the bus for getting them home. I figured as long as it wasn't me putting them on, I'd be okay. Don't be saddened by the pictures...they grew to love the bus ride and eventually smiled and waved when they saw us instead of releasing alligator tears! Of course, Andrew always loved it, but that's no big surprise!

The transportation department actually had to install a special seat for Molly because she was too small for the built in harness. It was pretty cute :-))

April Activities

We had some good friends down to visit in April, and kids had a blast! We enjoyed a yummy bbq, a little bit of sunshine, and finally got to meet baby Aiden.

Easter 2010

Happy Easter!!
A mouthful of chocolate, I'm sure!

What did the Easter Bunny bring this year? (And sidwalk chalk, a t-shirt, and notebook for Megan)
Typical Andrew...
My linear child!
Hurry up dad...
Candy!!

Egg!
Well, sadly, these are the only Easter pictures I have this year. I was a bad mom and forgot to bring the camera to the egg hunts/family gatherings! I will try to get some pictures emailed to me so I can add them in! We had a great Easter this year with two family celebrations, several egg hunts, and a lovely church service! However, I do believe that clothing designers should start including Easter wear in their winter line-up! Seriously! What happened to warm, springy Easters?? Oh well, the kids have fun anyways! And I didn't have the energy to stop the kids from eating their candy this year, so they definitely enjoyed that!

The Rest of March 2010

We closed up March on a good note...happy to see the runny noses and coughs subsiding and my children happy and healthy again! It was a busy month, but I think that's just the trend around here. We started preschool, completed a science fair project, celebrated 3 birthdays, and got some seeds in the garden!
The typical breakfast scene!
Perhaps it's time for a couple more bar stools???
Goofballs!
The 3 Stooges!
Oops! Does someone look guilty?
Beautifully curled hair by Aunt Tee Tee!
Working hard on her science project!

Just because she's too darn adorable to resist!
Now, I wonder what April will have in store for us??
