Well, as promised, I have some fun stuff to share today. I'm enjoying a rare chunk of uninterrupted time so I caught up on Grey's Anatomy and now I'm updating! What better way to spend a morning? Okay, maybe basking in the sun on a tropical beach would be nice......
Anyway, we have entered the world of gates! As you will see from the following pics, we have an avid stairclimber in the family. This is not a story I'm proud to share, but, hey, nobody's perfect right?? Last week I brought Hailey and Andrew down from their naps and went into the kitchen to start lunch. About 5 minutes later I noticed that I could hear Andrew playing but not Hailey. So, I wandered into the living room and saw that Hailey was missing. I bet you know where this is going. I thought maybe she had crawled around the corner and was headed to the computer room, as they often do. However, when I passed the staircase I caught a glimpse of something white out of the corner of my eye. Low and behold, there was Hailey about 3 steps from the top! I did my best not to panic and scare her, but when I got up close and said "Hailey, where are you going?", she did her best to kick it into high gear and get to the top before I got to her. I did let her finish, but I stayed right there beside her. Needless to say, we now have a gate at the bottom of the stairs. Both Hailey and Andrew were completely beside themselves when we first put it up, but they are used to it now. Only supervised stairclimbing from now on!

On to Andrew.....I've noticed this new trick lately and thought I would share. I think when they go in for their developmental evaluations, he should get points for ingenuity!
Apparently, it's just too much work for his arms alone to keep the bottle propped. And just for the record, he seems to prefer feeding himself, even though we'd rather hold him.
Molly is her usual happy self these days. She continues to eat when she wants and clearly refuses when she doesn't. She is a remarkable communicator! Those of you who know her understand what I'm talking about when I say she gives me "the lip." Here she is enjoying some pineapple fingers. Through feeding theraphy, we discovered she likes pickle juice!
We also did some goal setting with her.....
Maybe someday! Right now the 8 oz bottle is nearly as long as she is :-)
And in other parts of our world, this past weekend Tim and Megan enjoyed an outing at the Husky spring football game. They went last year and I think it will be an annual event for them. They go with our good friend Jeff and his daughter Ashley, who is the same age as Megan. While in Seattle, they visited our friends Lisa and Shaune from the NICU and enjoyed seeing their presentation for the Health and Sciences Open House. We were honored to have the triplets featured in their display.

Well, that about covers it for now. Just some other random news....Molly has found her nose. I tried desperately to get a picture of it but she's pretty quick. I suppose one of the four had to be a picker.
